1 mile:  6:31

5K:  23:37

Half Marathon: 2:04

My first post-high school 5K, in which I thought I was going to die

The first time I won my age division.  Yippee!

My first half marathon, in which I attack Sasha

The time I beat my high school PR for the 5K (as a 31 year-old mommy of 3!)

My first 5K barefooted

Short-Term Running Goals:

I'm just getting back into running after a long break to have my last child.  I would like to race some 10Ks, a half, and a marathon in the next 2 years.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Be the oldest woman to complete a marathon.  Yea!  But hopefully I will also complete some BEFORE I geezer up, like, before I'm 40 for sure.  I think it would be fun to dress up really strange for marathons, like impersonating celebrities and stuff.  Except I don't really like celebrities, as a rule, so maybe I'll have to stick to the age old question of ninja, or pirate.  I say ninja. *Hyah!*

Personal:

I am happily married to James W (Cool Runnings). We have 3 boys and 1 opinionated little girl.  I love reading and I'm also a news junkie.  I am a stinker.

2 in the morning with the double jogging stroller.  Average pace 12:35.  I had to stop and walk 2 times.

Good luck everyone with races tomorrow!  I can't wait to read all the race reports.

Wow. You got out there this morning in the heat, again! I thought you would. hehe I took a look at the Mesa weather averages for this time of year, and our low temps are running about 10 degrees warmer so far this month. In English? Hopefully, our nights will cool off alot soon!

I just have to say...you are awesome you are awesome you are awesome...okay that was enough.. I really struggled with the double stroller when I did it...although I have to boast I did once run with it for a mile...8 months pregnant. And then I was especially proud that I cleaned my kitchen on top of it. If you want a laugh go to my blog and see the discussion on what Sasha thought the smell of skunk was when he first came to America.

Boy! I thought I was the only weird person who ran at 2 in the morning. When I was working the grave shift at a grocery store I would run around the store at break time while everyone else smoked and drank redbulls! Its cool though, you do what you gotta do.

He he. Cute. Sorry Ashman, you probably ARE the only one to run at 2 in the morning. I tried 3 AM once, but I didn't like it. I actually ran 2 miles this morning around 7 AM, but it totally should count double bc I was pushing the loaded...double...jogging...stroller... (imagine threatening music here).

I run at 2am everynight!

Well except its in my dreams - does that count?

We did do the Sandy Midnight race last month, and got home at 1:30, it was nice having the cooler air, but I have some trouble seeing as well as I would like
